There are millions of young Nigerians who are willing to work, but simply don't know what skill to learn or where to start.
A young person can spend years looking for a job that pays ₦100K, while sitting at home with a smartphone and internet connection that could potentially become a source of income.
Skills like video editing, graphic design, copywriting, social media management, data analysis, web development, UI/UX and digital marketing can open doors beyond the traditional 9–5.
The problem is that many youths don't have access to proper training, mentorship or even the money to learn these skills.
We need more affordable and accessible digital-skills programmes that can help young Nigerians learn, earn legitimately and become financially independent.
Let's hear from the youths. If the government gave 1 million Nigerian youths free training in an online skill of their choice, which skill would you choose and why?
