Saturday morning in Benin, I saw a woman working as a bus conductor. Not far away, another woman was pushing a wheelbarrow, crying under the weight of what she was carrying.

It made me pause.

People are no longer choosing jobs; many are simply choosing survival. With limited jobs, rising costs and low wages, how are young Nigerians supposed to build a future?
