Getting to know someone can be a fun filled experience. It's usually exciting, conversations are stimulating and there's always something new to talk about and discover.

What becomes challenging is when conversations are dragging on and moving the relationship or friendship forward becomes an uphill task. It becomes even more difficult when your love interest seems neutral or doesn't warm up totally or leaves initiating communication solely your responsibility.

At this juncture, it could begin to seem like a chore and you might be at a loss for what next to do to keep things moving smoothly.
