1. Critique the behavior, not the person Focus on actions, trends, or ideas - not personal attacks. Say \"This trend is problematic because...\" not \"People who do this are stupid.\"

2. Back it up Support your take with reasoning. Explain WHY something bothers you. Empty rants without substance will be removed.

3. No name-calling or insults You can disagree strongly without being disrespectful. Keep it classy even when you're being critical.

4. Stay constructive Criticism should lead somewhere. Offer perspective, suggest alternatives, or spark meaningful discussion. Pure negativity without purpose isn't welcome here.

5. No hate speech or discrimination Critiquing culture ≠ attacking people's identity, religion, ethnicity, gender, or sexuality. Cross that line and you're out.

6. Respect different opinions Others might defend what you're criticizing. Engage respectfully. Healthy debate is encouraged; toxic arguments are not.

7. No doxxing or targeted harassment You can critique public figures or trends, but don't share private information or encourage harassment of individuals.

8. Self-awareness is key Before you post, ask: \"Is this genuine criticism or am I just being negative?\" If it's the latter, reconsider.

9. Read the room Some topics are sensitive. Approach with nuance and empathy, especially when critiquing serious cultural or social issues.

10. Mods have final say If your post crosses the line from criticism to hate, it will be removed. Repeated violations = ban. We're keeping this space real but respectful.
