I am not a hater, but not everyone smiling with you is rooting for you. We like to believe that proximity equals loyalty. That the people around us automatically want to see us win. But life has a way of revealing that some people are only comfortable with you when you’re not doing better than them. I am not a hater, but growth exposes relationships.
The moment you start leveling up thinking differently, moving differently, aiming higher you’ll notice a shift. Some people will support you. Others will become distant, silent, or subtly competitive. Not everyone clapping for you is genuine. And not everyone quiet is harmless. Sometimes, the biggest protection is awareness.
