The most blessed of the twelve months
In it Muhammad became a Rasul
I waited for you for eleven months
To try and emulate Allah's Rasul

In you lies the Night of Qadr
A night better than a thousand Sharr
A month that reforms all and sundry
And Sakinah envelopes the world like Bahr

The month Allah turns Ahlu-Nar to Ahlul-Jannah
He reserved the reward for Saimun for Himself
May Allah bless you in it with Umrah
It's a big favour one can do for oneself
