Tracy was married for 18 years and blessed with two children, a boy and a girl. Life seemed perfect until tragedy struck, her husband passed away. Two years later, Tracy found love again and married Frank.
This new chapter came with its own storms. Frank was controlling. She discouraged Tracy’s children from ever speaking about their late father or celebrating his memory. He even imposed himself whenever the kids wanted to visit their father’s relatives. Though the children often complained to Tracy, she never spoke up in their defense.
Years passed. The children grew up and moved out, but resentment lingered. Tracy told them that if they wanted to have a relationship with her, they also had to accept Frank. Hurt by her words, they distanced themselves, no birthday calls, no check-ins. Whenever Tracy complained, they reminded her, “This is what you asked for.”
Now, Tracy’s daughter is about to get married. But instead of joy, another storm brews. Tracy insists she won’t attend unless her daughter apologizes to Frank. The daughter, however, refuses, leaving the family at a painful crossroads.
