Girlfriend Who Sued UFC Star for Half His Fortune Ordered to Pay $500,000

A woman who dated a UFC fighter for just over a year has been ordered by the court to pay $500,000 after her lawsuit demanding half of his fortune was dismissed as baseless. The ex-girlfriend, whose identity has been withheld, claimed that during their relationship she supported the fighter emotionally and helped manage parts of his lifestyle, which she argued entitled her to a share of his multi-million dollar earnings.

The UFC star, known for his dominant performance in the octagon and a recent string of championship wins, denied any financial agreement between them, stating that the relationship was personal, not business. The legal battle gained widespread attention on social media, with fans expressing outrage over what they called a “gold digger move.”

After months of litigation, the judge ruled that there was no legal foundation for the claim, stating that dating does not automatically entitle a partner to financial assets unless there is a formal agreement or cohabitation arrangement recognized by law. In a surprising turn, the court also ordered the woman to pay $500,000 to cover the fighter’s legal fees and damages for defamation.

The fighter, speaking after the verdict, said he was relieved that justice had been served and expressed hopes that his experience would serve as a lesson to others about protecting their personal and financial boundaries. The woman has yet to comment publicly on the outcome.
