What was meant to be the happiest week of her life ended in unspeakable tragedy.

Megan, a 27 year old bride-to-be, was in the final stages of preparing for her dream wedding scheduled to take place just in one week. With her checklist nearly complete and her gown fitted to perfection, Megan and her best friend checked into a hotel, courtesy of her fiancé, who had booked two rooms for her and her friends to unwind before the big day.

But no one could have foreseen what happened next.

As she arrived at the hotel lobby, Megan came face-to-face with someone she hadn’t seen in years: her ex-boyfriend.

The encounter was brief, polite small talk, a quick smile. But three hours later, he called her. She declined to meet. He called again. And again. Eventually, after repeated pleas, she agreed to visit him at his home the next day, reportedly just to bring closure to their past.

That decision would cost her life.

According to sources close to the investigation, Megan’s ex begged for reconciliation during the meeting. But Megan made it clear, her heart now belonged to someone else and She had moved on.

What began as a conversation quickly escalated into a violent confrontation. Neighbors reported hearing shouting and crashes. The altercation turned brutal when the ex lost control and violently attacked Megan, beating her until she passed out.

By the time neighbors forced their way into the apartment, Megan was unresponsive and bleeding on the floor. Emergency responders confirmed her death at the scene. The ex-boyfriend has since been taken into custody and is facing charges of murder.
