YOUR BIGGEST PRISON MAY NOT BE YOUR ENVIRONMENT, BUT YOUR MIND!

Let me tell you something interesting.

Imagine an eagle that was raised among chickens. From the moment it was born, it watched chickens scratch the ground, search for food and live within the limits of the farm.

Although it had wings capable of carrying it high into the sky, it never attempted to fly.

Why?

Because everything it had ever known was the ground.

It had the capacity to soar, but its environment had shaped its thinking.

This reminds me of one of the powerful lessons in Dr. Myles Munroe's teachings on purpose and potential: You cannot fully discover who you are until you understand why you were created.

Many people are living like that eagle.

Some have abandoned their dreams because someone told them they weren't good enough. Some have buried their gifts because they failed once. Others have accepted society's definition of success and forgotten the unique assignment God placed inside them.

But listen carefully:

Your present circumstances are not the definition of your identity. Your past mistakes are not the boundaries of your future. And people's opinions are not the measure of your potential.

You were not created merely to exist, survive and fit into society. You were created with purpose, gifts, abilities and an assignment.

Sometimes, the greatest breakthrough you need is not a change of location but a change of thinking.

Stop asking, "What can I become based on what people think of me?"

Start asking, "What has God deposited inside me, and what am I doing with it?

Remember: You cannot fulfil a purpose you have not discovered, and you cannot maximise a potential you refuse to explore.

TODAY'S REFLECTION:

If you discovered that you have been living below your true potential because of fear, limiting beliefs, past experiences or other people's expectations, what is the first thing you would change about your thinking?

Let's talk in the comments.
