President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved updated responsibilities that transfer major oversight functions from the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, to the Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite.

The directive expands her role to include specific responsibility for domestic finances, including:

- All domestic debt management
