His speech is part of what the convention sets to achieve as a platform for the showcasing of successes recorded by the APC since it’s assumption of Leadership in 2015.

The minister also credited the President for taking a bold step that has helped the nation maintain structural, Fiscal responsibility and resilience.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had on assumption of office on May 29 2023 announced the removal of subsidy on the Premium Motor Spirit popularly known as Petrol, merged the exchange rates among other steps.

His decision has been commended by Economists and Experts from around the world as being the difficult step that must be taken to return Nigeria to the path of sustainable National Economic Development and shared prosperity.
