This is coming after Bolaji Abdullahi stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is celebrating his final year in office. He made the statement while congratulating the President on his birthday anniversary.

Here is what Bolaji Abdullahi wrote on his official X handle;

"So as you celebrate your final year in office, Nigerians can only offer a prayer that this next year brings a sudden and unfamiliar miracle. That you begin to take governance more seriously".

However, in a post that Sunday Dare, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Public Communication shared on his official X handle on Sunday, March 28, 2026, he said Bolaji Abdullahi is suffering from amnesia.

He said everything Bolaji Abdullahi blamed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for didn't begin today.

"The Tinubu-Shettima administration did not remove subsidy because it was easy. We removed it because it was necessary. Hard choices, real consequences, no pretence".
