Former Senate President, Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, PhD, GCON, received a distinguished delegation from the City Boy Movement, Yobe State Chapter, at his office in the National Assembly Complex.

According to a media post by Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, the visit provided an opportunity for dialogue between the delegation and the former Senate President.

The delegation comprised dynamic young leaders, including Dr. Muhammad Yakubu Hassan, State Director; Dr. Abubakar Mai Mala Buni, Head of Stakeholders Engagement; Ahmad Muhammad Gana, Senior Special Assistant on Political Strategy; and Musa Isa, Senior Special Assistant on Liaison and Linkages.

During the meeting, the group outlined the objectives and vision of the City Boy Movement, aimed at youth engagement and nation-building.

Senator Lawan commended their energy and commitment, joking that the movement’s name should not exclude youths in rural areas.

He emphasized the critical role of youth participation in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Senator Lawan assured the delegation of his full support, noting his patronage of the Tinubu House-to-House Network and encouraging ongoing collaboration to empower young Nigerians.
