Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya says the creation of 13 Local Council Development Areas will bring government services closer to rural communities and improve public service delivery. He stated the reform is inspired by earlier grassroots restructuring models used in Lagos and aligns with his administration’s promise to strengthen local governance. The governor made the statement during the foundation ceremony for the Kwami West LCDA secretariat and reiterated support for federal development policies while mobilising political backing ahead of the 2027 elections.
