Vice President Kashim Shettima @officialSKSM has arrived at the Yakubu Gowon Airport, Jos, ahead of the formal reception of Governor Caleb Mutfwang @CalebMutfwang into the All Progressives Congress (@OfficialAPCNg).

The Vice President, representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was received at the airport by Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, other members of the National Assembly, APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and various members of the APC National Working Committee.

He is set to lead the grand ceremony at the Jos Polo Field, where Governor Mutfwang, who recently defected from the PDP, will be officially integrated into the APC alongside his deputy, the entire State Executive Council, and all 17 Local Government Chairmen.

This is a historic political realignment, formally bringing Plateau State under the umbrella of the ruling party.
