Former ADC presidential aspirant Mohammed Hayatu-Deen has accepted the outcome of the party's presidential primary while reiterating concerns about alleged irregularities during the process.

In a statement titled "My Campaign, The Silent Majority, and the Future of Our Democracy," Hayatu-Deen said he was initially troubled by reports of widespread vote manipulation during the primary election and had considered his next course of action.

Despite his reservations, he announced that he would not challenge the outcome in court, arguing that Nigeria urgently needs a strong, credible, and united opposition capable of offering an alternative vision for the country.

Hayatu-Deen noted that his campaign was inspired by what he described as Nigeria's "silent majority"—citizens who continue to believe in integrity, competence, fairness, and selfless leadership despite growing political disillusionment.

While acknowledging that the primary result fell short of his expectations, he said he had communicated his concerns privately to party leaders and expressed hope that the issues would be reviewed in the spirit of strengthening internal democracy.

The former presidential aspirant thanked supporters, volunteers, donors, professionals, students, and campaign coordinators who stood by his movement throughout the contest.

He urged Nigerians not to abandon hope in the country's future, stressing that meaningful national transformation often begins quietly before becoming visible.

"This campaign may have come to an end, but the larger task of building a stronger, fairer and more prosperous Nigeria continues," he said.

The statement is widely seen as a conciliatory message aimed at preserving unity within the ADC while keeping alive the reformist ideals that formed the foundation of his presidential bid.
