In my capacity as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Election Campaign Council for the 2026 Re-election of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji of Ekiti State, I attended a meeting last night with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in company of my governor at the State House, Abuja.

Focus of the meeting was to brief Mr President on the Council's preparedness and its ongoing workplan ahead of the kick-off of our campaign in coming days.

Let me reiterate that the Campaign Council is committed to ensuring an overwhelming victory for Governor Oyebanji in the election scheduled for Saturday June 20th, 2026; as we target victory in all the 177 wards of the state with not less than 500,000 votes.

Governor Oyebanji's victory in the coming election which will be made possible by his track records in office over the last three years will no doubt lay a solid ground for a far more resounding victory for President Tinubu in the January 2027 Presidential Election.
