We were once again excited to witness the outpouring of love, solidarity, and the many pledges of support for our great party - the African Democratic Congress (ADC) - as the people of Ayedaade, Irewole, and Isokan Federal Constituency turned out in large numbers to receive us today in Ikire.

It was refreshing to see market men and women at the popular Obada Market in Ikire leave their businesses to express their support and to reassure us that they stand firmly behind the ideals we represent.

We used the opportunity to reiterate why we decided to join forces with like-minded people to rescue our state and country from the misgovernance of the current office holders.

We believe that, with the present state of the nation’s economy, worsening insecurity and terrorism, and the dearth of quality leadership across all sectors, the masses are more than ready to use their votes to reject a government that has neglected their welfare for narrow political and financial gains.

We are deeply grateful to the Akire of Ikire, Oba Olatunde Falabi Lambeloye III, and his chiefs, who received us warmly and offered royal blessings on our new political journey.
