Dele Momodu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), said that with INEC derecognising the party, the last hope now rests with the courts, which he described as a very precarious option. He added that there is always the God factor, which remains beyond human expectation.
The statement was contained in a viral post that Dele Momodu shared on his official X account on April 1, 2025.
In a post that surfaced online, Dele Momodu stated that with INEC’s summary derecognition of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), the party’s last hope now rests with the courts—though even that is precarious.
He added that the God factor, which is always beyond human comprehension, remains a decisive element.
Momodu also claimed that President Bola Tinubu and his allies aim to ensure a sole candidate emerges in the 2027 presidential election. He drew parallels with the Abacha era (1993–1998), noting that such brazen attempts to control outcomes are not new. According to him, humans rarely learn from the lessons of history.
According to Dele Momodu on his official X account;
"Now that the INEC has summarily derecognised ADC, the last hope would be the courts, and even that is very precarious. But there's always the GOD factor, which is always beyond human comprehension and expectation."
