President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has launched what many are calling Nigeria’s most ambitious agricultural transformation in decades backed by billions in funding, international partnerships, and groundbreaking reforms.

From declaring a State of Emergency on Food Security to creating a ₦100 billion National Agricultural Development Fund, Tinubu’s administration has moved swiftly from talk to action. Fertilizer and seed distribution have reached millions of farmers, while the 500,000-hectare Dry Season Farming Initiative is rewriting Nigeria’s food production story.

With a record-breaking ₦826.5 billion budget for agriculture in 2025, global deals with Brazil, Belarus, and the U.S., and modern mechanization efforts already underway, the administration has put Nigeria on the path to food security, farmer empowerment, and reduced dependence on imports.

Analysts say the signs are clear: Tinubu’s Green Revolution is here and it’s changing everything.
