Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has sparked reactions online after sharing a series of posts criticizing the current state of Nigeria under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

In one of the viral posts, the actress wrote that “every supporter of Tinubu is a kidnapper, killer, beheader and corrupt individual,” a statement that quickly generated heated debate across social media platforms.

Yvonne Jegede also expressed frustration over the rising cost of living, insecurity, and worsening economic hardship in the country. In another post, she highlighted the soaring prices of fuel, cement, bread, electricity tariffs, cooking gas, food items, and university fees, questioning the direction of the nation.

The actress further lamented the increasing rate of kidnappings and insecurity, saying Nigerians should not normalize the situation. According to her, citizens deserve better living conditions and leadership accountability.

Her comments have since divided opinions online, with some Nigerians supporting her concerns about the economy and insecurity, while others criticized the harsh tone of her remarks toward supporters of the president.
