When I received my posting letter the location was the first shock to me how can a name of a place be "Mama". It was none of the places I have planned to stay but as a loyal corp member I took it upon myself to go to my PPA without relocating.

Inside the car we keep moving pass all the villages and bush after bush I have to ask the driver whether we're leaving Nigeria to another place, the other guys started crying saying they can't stay such a location. To my greatest shock the Mama is so small that in two weeks you can all everyone by name.

After settling down in the village, I got to know the tribe am dwelling among to be Kantana people. Even though I don't like the place but I can't deny the peaceful and calm nature of the environment. It was there I got to know "wake sheru" the strong beans that takes hours to be cooked if not days. Another big challenge was that the place void of MTN, GLO network only Airtel functional in some areas.
