If you're a 2026 Batch A Stream II corps member, here's an update you should keep on your radar.

Corps members serving during the 2027 Presidential Election, expected to hold in January 2027, are likely to be engaged as INEC ad-hoc staff as part of their national service responsibilities.

In addition, former corps members who have completed NYSC may also have the opportunity to participate. However, eligibility is usually subject to INEC's guidelines, including a service-year limit. Generally, only ex-corps members who completed their service within the last two years before the election are considered eligible.

What to Expect

INEC is expected to open an online registration portal for interested serving and eligible ex-corps members to apply as ad-hoc staff ahead of the election.

Once the portal is officially announced, applicants will be able to register and follow the screening process outlined by INEC.
