The truth is, the first three months after POP can be an important period for setting yourself up for the future. Instead of waiting for everything to fall into place, this is a good time to start making intentional moves.

Here are a few things you can focus on:

📌 Update your CV: Include the skills, experience and responsibilities you gained during your service year.

📌 Start applying for jobs: Don't wait until you feel completely ready. Explore opportunities that match your qualifications and interests.

📌 Build your skills: Identify areas where you need improvement and invest time in learning.

📌 Grow your network: Stay connected with people you met during NYSC, including colleagues, supervisors and fellow corps members.

📌 Explore other opportunities: Whether it's entrepreneurship, further education or professional training, give yourself room to discover what works for you.

📌 Create a realistic plan: You don't have to figure out your entire future in 90 days. Start with small, achievable goals.

Remember, POP is not the end of your journey. It's the beginning of another phase.
