Let's be honest.

One of the most talked-about topics every NYSC season is relocation.

The moment call-up letters are released, many prospective corps members immediately start calculating their next move. Some are excited about their state of deployment, while others begin searching for relocation information before even stepping into camp.

But here's an interesting question:

If NYSC gave you one free relocation today with guaranteed approval, which state would you choose?

Would it be Lagos because of the opportunities and city life?

Abuja because of the peaceful environment and networking opportunities?

Oyo because of the balance between affordability and development?

Or maybe Rivers, Enugu, Ogun, or even your home state?

The funny thing is that everybody has a reason.

Some people want a state closer to family.

Some are thinking about job opportunities after service.

Others simply want good roads, stable electricity, and better accommodation options. 😅

Interestingly, many corps members who initially fought hard for relocation later admitted that the state they wanted to leave eventually gave them some of their best NYSC memories.

So maybe the perfect state doesn't always guarantee the perfect experience.
