The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced a temporary suspension of the 2026 Batch B Stream I Orientation Course for prospective corps members deployed to Niger State.
According to an official notice released by NYSC, the suspension is due to ongoing renovation works at the Niger State Orientation Camp.
This means that affected PCMs should not proceed to the camp until further directives are issued.
NYSC has assured all affected corps members that they will be contacted soon with details of their new reporting venue and date for the orientation exercise.
While the announcement may come as a disappointment to many PCMs who have already begun travel and camp preparations, the scheme has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to corps members and their families.
What Affected PCMs Should Do
✅ Remain calm and avoid unnecessary travel arrangements.
✅ Monitor your NYSC dashboard and official NYSC communication channels regularly.
✅ Stay updated for further instructions regarding your orientation course.
The situation is expected to be temporary, and NYSC will provide additional information once arrangements have been finalized.
