Your friend's breakthrough doesn't mean your own is late. Sometimes, you're not behind. You're simply building from a different starting point.

So yes, celebrate your friends. Be genuinely happy for them. But don't use their timeline to measure your worth. Keep applying. Keep learning. Keep trying. Start small if you have to. Because the person who seems to be "behind" today might be the one everyone is asking for advice tomorrow.

NYSC may end on the same day for thousands of people, but life doesn't give everyone the same timeline.
