NYSC Batch B Registration Update: What Prospective Corps Members Should Know as Current Batch Remains in Camp
While thousands of corps members are still undergoing their orientation exercise across different NYSC camps in Nigeria, many graduates preparing for the next mobilization batch have already started asking the big question:
“When will NYSC Batch B registration start?”
At the moment, the has not officially announced the registration date for 2026 Batch B Stream I. However, with the current Batch A Stream II orientation camp still ongoing, expectations are gradually building among prospective corps members waiting for the next phase of mobilization.
The ongoing Batch A Stream II orientation exercise officially began on April 22, 2026, and camp activities are expected to end on May 12, 2026, according to the NYSC mobilization schedule.
As usual, many PCMs are already monitoring Senate list updates, clearance processes, and school uploads in preparation for the next registration exercise.
Although NYSC is yet to release an official date for Batch B registration, timetable projections and recent mobilization patterns suggest that the next batch may likely commence registration sometime in June 2026.
For many graduates, this waiting period is always filled with mixed emotions.
Some are excited to finally move to the next stage after graduation.
Some are worried about documentation issues.
Others are simply hoping their schools complete Senate list uploads on time.
Over the years, one common mistake many PCMs make is waiting until registration opens before preparing their documents. Experienced corps members often advise prospective applicants to prepare early in order to avoid last-minute stress once the portal goes live.
Important things prospective corps members are advised to prepare include:
Valid email address
Active phone number
Passport photographs
Correct JAMB details
School clearance documents
Senate list confirmation
NYSC has also continued to warn graduates against relying on fake registration dates and unofficial updates circulating on social media.
