Role Overview:

We are seeking a Marketing Manager with a passion for community-building and digital marketing to drive user acquisition, increase active participation, and establish OurPalaver.com as a go-to space for quality conversations online. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of crafting campaigns while analyzing what works to continually improve our growth efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Growth Marketing:
  Develop and execute strategies to grow our user base through organic and paid channels (SEO, email, content marketing, PPC, social media).

• Community Engagement:
  Work closely with community moderators and users to boost engagement, foster meaningful discussions, and encourage user retention.

• Content Strategy:
  Plan and coordinate marketing content including newsletters, blog posts, promotional campaigns, and partnerships to amplify the OurPalaver brand.

• Social Media Management:
  Manage OurPalaver’s social presence, promote top forum content, and connect with online communities relevant to our mission.

• Analytics & Optimization:
  Track key marketing and engagement metrics, identify insights, and optimize campaigns based on performance data.

• Partnerships & Collaborations:
  Identify opportunities to collaborate with influencers, online communities, and content creators to drive awareness and traffic.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, community management, or growth roles—ideally for a forum, online platform, or media startup

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, SEO, and content marketing

• Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, email platforms, and social scheduling tools

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Self-starter with a creative, experimental, and data-driven mindset

• Passion for online communities, forums, and user-driven platforms

Nice to Have:

• Experience marketing for a niche or discussion-based platform

• Familiarity with online community moderation or community guidelines

• Graphic design or video editing skills for promotional content
