Everton played out a 2-2 draw with Manchester United last night in the Premier League Summer Series – and David Moyes had some strong comments about one player ahead of the match.

Everton fell behind after a challenge in the box by James Tarkowski on Amad Diallo, with many fans believing it was extremely soft. Bruno Fernandes converted the penalty.

The Toffees then got back on level terms just before half-time, with Idrissa Gana Gueye floating a lovely ball over the top for Iliman Ndiaye to steer in.

Mason Mount put United back in front in the second-half, before Everton got back on level terms again through a somewhat amusing mix up leading to an own goal.

It was actually a decent performance from Everton on the night, but one man who unfortunately drew some criticism was Beto – and not just from fans.
