Two years ago, my brother graduated from university but couldn’t find a job, so he decided to start a fishing business. Within six months, the business was doing surprisingly well. His fish had matured, and he was making good money supplying hotels and restaurants. He was excited because, for the first time, he felt he had found something that could change his life.
But about a year later, he started having strange dreams. In the dreams, he would find himself inside a river surrounded by fish and other aquatic animals. At first, he ignored them, but when they became frequent, he told our pastor, who prayed with him. Two weeks later, the dreams returned, and after more prayers, our pastor advised him to stop the fishing business because he wanted to observe what would happen. My brother reluctantly agreed, and surprisingly, the dreams stopped completely.
The problem is that since he stopped fishing, his financial situation has become worse. He is still unemployed, and fishing was the only thing he was really good at. Now he is stuck between his financial struggles and the fear that going back to the business might mean ignoring a warning from God.
