Social Media Marketing Specialist (Live Commerce) at MartX

Location: Fully Remote (Lagos time-zone preferred)

Salary: ₦120,000 per month

About the Role

MartX is building the future of live shopping and social commerce. We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist who understands how to grow brands on TikTok, X (Twitter), and Instagram, with a strong grip on live streaming, live selling, and creator-led commerce.

This role is for someone who has actually scaled campaigns, understands how live content converts to sales, and can operate independently without babysitting.

Responsibilities

Grow and manage MartX’s presence on TikTok, X, and Instagram

Plan and execute live commerce–focused content strategies

Drive awareness and adoption of MartX Live (vendors, creators, and users)

Support and promote livestream shopping events and creator lives

Develop content calendars optimized for reach, engagement, and conversion

Identify trends in live shopping, creator economy, and short-form video

Analyze performance and optimize content based on real metrics

Work closely with product and growth teams on launches and campaigns

Requirements

Proven experience scaling social media accounts or campaigns on TikTok, X, and Instagram

Strong understanding of live streaming, live shopping, and social commerce

Demonstrable track record of driving growth, engagement, or revenue

Ability to work independently and execute without micromanagement

Strong copywriting and content ideation skills

Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment

Certifications (Required or Strongly Preferred)

Google Digital Marketing Certification

Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Marketing Certification

TikTok marketing or creator-focused certifications (if available)

Any verifiable digital marketing certifications with practical value
