In a remarkable academic feat that has captured national attention, Adogbo David Kikisoko, a student of Deeper Life High School (DLHS), has emerged as one of the highest scorers in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), posting an extraordinary total score of 371 out of 400.

Kikisoko’s subject scores are nothing short of stellar:

• English Language – 77

• Mathematics – 98

• Physics – 98

• Chemistry – 98

His outstanding performance not only places him among the UTME’s elite candidates this year but also marks a historic moment — breaking a 12-year-long ceiling. Since 2013, no student has crossed the 370 mark. The closest contenders were Maduafokwa Egoagwuagwu Agnes (365 in 2020), and a trio of top scorers — Olowu David, Alayande David, and Orukpe Joel — who each scored 367 in the 2024 UTME.

Kikisoko’s achievement has set a new benchmark and firmly established DLHS as a powerhouse of academic excellence. The school, in a celebratory Facebook post, announced that nearly 300 of its students nationwide scored 300 and above in this year’s UTME — a feat that has earned them the title of “2025 UTME Champions.”
