The Federal Government has approved ₦4.2 billion through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) to support 158 research projects across federal universities.

The move is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic research and innovation in Nigerian higher institutions. The grants are expected to boost critical research in various fields and enhance the country’s knowledge-based economy.
