I'm losing grip, I'm slipping away,
My anger's fire, night and day.
I'm close to the edge, it's true,
Blocking out the world, to see it through.
Every face, a potential fight,
Every value, a spark in the night.
I'm tempted to shut it all down,
And hide from the world, in this angry town.
But in the silence, I'll be alone,
With emotions that refuse to atone.
The fear of being hurt, the pain of the past,
A cycle of anger that will forever last.
So I'll take a breath, and try to break free,
From this anger that's suffocating me.
And reach out for help, before it's too late,
To find peace and calm, and a heart that can wait.
