Unspoken Truths

Too close to be just friends,

Our hearts beats with unspoken truths.

Yet we act like we don't have feelings that never ends,

Perhaps someday love will bloom while still in our youth.

Too complicated to be lovers,

The bond we share is at stake.

Perhaps we are right to lay out feelings in the corners,

And condemn what our heart feels as fake.

Too much history to be strangers,

The echoes of our memories will abound forever.

So let's guard our bond, like vigilant rangers,

And overcome all the challenges, no matter the weather.

Too attached to be acquaintances,

An exchange of pleasantries will bring back memories flooding in with a whoosh.

So no matter the circumstances,

Let's stand by each other with a mad rush.
