The moment she shut the door close, the lights went out. Amara's heart skipped a beat. She was afraid of the dark and the worst part was the fact that her phone was far away from her at the moment.
She waved off the feeling and groped her way around her house, trying to remember where she had left her phone.
She couldn't even remember where she dropped her phone and she kept hitting stuff as though she was a stranger in her own home.
One of the bulbs went on and her heart froze. All that ran through her mind was her individual rapture. She hadn't had time to repent from her sins. She slept with men for money and aborted her pregnancies without thinking or remorse.
But that wasn't her real fear…
A child sat on the chair on the bulb like it was a spotlight. He was smiling, his skin was caramel colored and his long black hair was dripping…blood.
"Mommy…why?" He said in the most creepy voice Amara had ever heard.
Amara screamed above her throat and fell back. She began pleading the Blood of Jesus over and over again till she started crying but even Jesus had turned his back on her.
More children with dark skin, red eyes, a scary smile and long hair dripping blood came out from the rooms and even fell from the roof, crawling towards her.
"Mommy. I love you but you killed me." On of them with a body at the wrong angle said to her with a smile that reached his eyes.
Amara kept screaming, tried running but the caught her by her ankle and yanked her down. They hugged her, kissed her all while biting and tearing at her skin.
It was revenge.
A pay back for killing the children she never got to meet…
This may sound like a joke or a fiction but an advice….
