Digital Outreach & Partnerships Executive

ourPalaver.com  ·  N2O Technologies

Digital Outreach & Partnerships Executive

Location: Remote Type: Contract Department: Growth & Marketing

About OurPalaver

OurPalaver.com is a fast-growing Nigerian community platform built for open discussions, bold opinions, and cultural conversations. We run monthly writing challenges and community campaigns with real cash prizes — and we're looking for someone to help us put them in front of the right audiences.

Role Overview

We are looking for a sharp, well-connected Digital Outreach & Partnerships Executive to drive visibility for ourPalaver through influencer relationships, brand collaborations, and targeted social media outreach.

This is an execution-first role — you will spend most of your time identifying the right accounts, building relationships, and securing placements that directly push our campaigns to new audiences.

You will work closely with our Marketing Manager on timing and strategy, but your core output is partnerships activated and campaigns promoted.

Key Responsibilities

Influencer & Creator Outreach

  • Identify and reach out to Nigerian influencers, content creators, and niche community pages across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Facebook that align with our campaigns and audience.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of creator relationships — from micro-influencers to mid-tier accounts.

  • Negotiate and coordinate sponsored posts, shoutouts, and collaborative content around our monthly challenges and terminals.

Campaign Promotion

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to receive campaign briefs and execute outreach for each ourPalaver challenge launch.

  • Ensure influencer content goes live in alignment with campaign timelines — submission windows, voting periods, and winner announcements.

  • Follow up with collaborators on performance and collect data on reach, clicks, and sign-ups driven.

Partnership Development

  • Identify Nigerian brands, platforms, media outlets, and communities whose audiences overlap with ourPalaver's and pitch mutually beneficial partnership opportunities.

  • Explore co-promotion, guest posting, and cross-community deals that grow our user base without solely relying on paid advertising.

Reporting

  • Track and report on all outreach activity — contacts made, deals closed, posts published, and estimated reach delivered per campaign.

  • Flag what's working and what isn't so we can refine our influencer strategy over time.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in influencer marketing, digital outreach, brand partnerships, or a similar role — ideally in the Nigerian or broader African digital space.

  • Active knowledge of the Nigerian social media landscape: who the creators are, which pages have real engagement, and where different audiences live online.

  • Strong written and verbal communication — you'll be pitching ourPalaver to people who have never heard of us, so you need to be persuasive and clear.

  • Organized and self-driven: capable of managing multiple outreach conversations and campaign timelines simultaneously.

  • Comfortable with outbound work — you're not waiting for partners to come to you.

Nice to Have

  • Existing relationships with Nigerian creators, community pages, or media outlets.

  • Experience promoting online platforms, challenges, or community-based campaigns.

  • Familiarity with tracking links and basic campaign performance metrics.

  • Understanding of NYSC/corper culture and Nigerian youth online communities.

Why OurPalaver?

  • Work on campaigns with real cultural relevance — our challenges generate genuine debate and content people actually share.

  • Build your influencer network while getting paid to do it.

  • Flexible, remote contract with room to grow as the platform scales.

  • Direct impact: the partnerships you close will show up in our sign-up numbers.

Terminal Manager — Heart Palaver | ourPalaver

Community · Remote · Contract

ourPalaver is building focused community spaces for Nigerians — and Heart Palaver is our relationships and dating terminal. It's where Nigerians come to talk about the talking stage, the wahala that comes after, and everything in between.

What you'll do

You'll keep Heart Palaver alive and loud. That means dropping conversation starters people can't ignore, sourcing real stories from the community, moderating the chaos with a calm hand, and turning the terminal into the relationship corner everyone checks daily.

You're a fit if you:

  - Have opinions on Nigerian relationship culture and aren't shy about them

  - Know how to write a poll or thread that splits a room in half

  - Can hold space for both the person venting and the person being called out — without bias

  - Are online — you already see the discourse, you just want to host it

  - Can tell the difference between healthy debate and harm, and act accordingly

What you get

  - Base allowance + performance bonus tied to engagement and community growth

  - Remote and flexible

  - A genuinely fun terminal to manage — this one will never run out of material

Terminal Manager — Japa | ourPalaver

Community · Remote · Contract

ourPalaver is a growing community platform built for Nigerians navigating real life decisions together. We host focused community spaces called terminals — and we're building out our Japa Terminal, a dedicated space for Nigerians exploring, planning, or already living the relocation experience.

What you'll do

You'll own the Japa Terminal end to end. That means sparking conversations, building out a resource library that people actually bookmark, growing an engaged member base, and making the terminal the most trusted japa community for Nigerians online.

You're a fit if you:

  - Have japad, are in the process, or have spent serious time researching it

  - Can write clearly and start a debate that people can't scroll past

  - Know the difference between a Tier 2 visa and a Graduate Route, or a Express Entry and a PNP

  - Are online and active — you treat the terminal like your own community, not a job

  - Can package information well — guides, threads, FAQs, not just vibes

What you get

  - Base allowance + performance bonus tied to community growth

  - Remote and flexible

  - The chance to build something that genuinely helps people make one of the biggest decisions of their lives

ourPalaver Opening: Community Strategist -- NYSC

Date: April 24, 2026

Job Description: Community Strategist

NYSC Terminal  ·  Remote  ·  Contract

About the Terminal

The NYSC terminal on ourPalaver is built to be the most honest, useful, and community-driven space for corps members in Nigeria. Not a complaints board, not a rumor mill — a real resource where corps members can speak freely, share experiences, and help each other navigate one of the most defining years of their lives.

As Community Strategist, you will be the engine behind this terminal. You will seed it, shape it, and grow it from the ground up.

The Role

Title:   Community Strategist — NYSC Terminal

Reports to:   General Manager

Type:   Fixed-term contract, renewable upon satisfactory performance

Location:   Remote

What You Will Do

Terminal Seeding and Content (Primary Focus)

  • Seed and manage daily conversations across key NYSC topics — postings, PPA experiences, call-up letters, relocation, allowances, and camp life.

  • Develop a content calendar of weekly discussion prompts that reflect the real concerns of corps members at each stage of the service year.

  • Create and post opinion pieces, guides, and educational content that position the terminal as a genuine resource, not just a forum.

  • Identify trending NYSC topics and lead timely, relevant discussions before they land elsewhere.

Community Growth and Recruitment

  • Recruit founding members from active NYSC communities across WhatsApp, Telegram, and X.

  • Build structured onboarding experiences that convert new visitors into active, returning members.

  • Identify power users and nurture them as community champions or volunteer moderators.

  • Design and run referral and ambassador initiatives to incentivize sign-ups and long-term participation.

Resources and Support

  • Build structured resources within the terminal — state-by-state guides, PPA reviews, camp FAQs, and mobilisation timelines.

  • Handle community questions promptly and develop clear FAQ resources to reduce repeated queries.

  • Create guides where helpful to improve user comprehension and ease of onboarding.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Track and report monthly on key metrics — member growth, post frequency, engagement rates, and activity levels.

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations tied to agreed KPI targets.

  • Adjust community strategies based on findings to continuously improve terminal health and growth.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Currently serving or completed NYSC within the last two years.

  • Actively engaged in NYSC communities online — you know the conversations happening and the questions being asked.

  • A strong communicator who can moderate discussions without being heavy-handed.

  • Self-directed and consistent — you can maintain a terminal without being chased.

  • Genuinely interested in building something useful for corps members, not just filling a role.

What We Offer

Compensation is structured as a fixed base monthly allowance plus a Performance Enhancer of up to an equal amount, determined by your KPI rating at the end of each contract month. Full details will be outlined in your offer letter.

KPI targets — covering member growth, engagement, content output, and community health — will be agreed at the start of each contract month and reviewed at month-end.

How to Apply

Send your application to admin@ourpalaver.com with the subject line "NYSC Terminal — Community Strategist." Include a short note on why you are the right person for this terminal and any relevant community-building experience.

ourPalaver Opening: Community Strategist – Nigerian Workplace Terminal

Date: April 24, 2026

Job Description: Community Strategist

Nigerian Workplace Terminal  ·  Remote  ·  Contract

About the Terminal

The Nigerian Workplace terminal on ourPalaver is built around one simple truth — Nigerians have a great deal to say about work that they cannot say with their name attached. Salaries, toxic management, career pivots, industry realities, HR failures. This terminal exists to hold those honest conversations in a space that protects its members.

As Community Strategist, you will build that space from scratch. You will set its tone, seed its conversations, recruit its founding members, and make it the go-to anonymous home for Nigerian professionals.

The Role

Title:   Community Strategist — Nigerian Workplace Terminal

Reports to:   General Manager

Type:   Fixed-term contract, renewable upon satisfactory performance

Location:   Remote

What You Will Do

Terminal Seeding and Content (Primary Focus)

  • Seed and manage daily discussions around Nigerian workplace realities — salaries, career growth, bad employers, industry culture, toxic management, and job hunting.

  • Develop a weekly content calendar of discussion prompts that surface the conversations professionals are already having privately.

  • Create and post opinion pieces and guides — salary benchmarks by industry, how to negotiate, how to survive difficult workplace environments.

  • Identify trending workplace topics and lead discussions before they peak elsewhere.

Community Growth and Recruitment

  • Recruit founding members from professional communities across LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram, and X.

  • Build structured onboarding experiences that convert new visitors into active, returning members.

  • Identify power users and nurture them as community champions or volunteer moderators.

  • Design and run referral and ambassador initiatives to incentives sign-ups and sustained participation.

Moderation and Community Safety

  • Moderate discussions with a firm but fair hand — keeping conversations honest without allowing them to become vindictive or defamatory.

  • Protect member anonymity at all times and enforce community guidelines consistently.

  • Develop and maintain a clear set of community norms that make the terminal feel safe and trustworthy.

  • Escalate sensitive issues to management where necessary.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Track and report monthly on key metrics — member growth, post frequency, engagement rates, and community sentiment.

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations tied to agreed KPI targets.

  • Adjust community strategies continuously based on what the data and member feedback reveal.

Who We Are Looking For

  • At least two years of professional work experience in Nigeria across any industry.

  • Someone who has lived the Nigerian workplace firsthand — you understand the frustrations, the unwritten rules, and the conversations people have off the record.

  • Comfortable moderating sensitive topics around salaries, discrimination, and employer conduct without bias.

  • Discreet, trustworthy, and deeply committed to protecting member anonymity.

  • Self-directed and consistent — you can drive a community without constant supervision.

Send your application to admin@ourpalaver.com with the subject line "Nigerian Workplace Terminal — Community Strategist." Include a short note on why you are the right person to build this community and any relevant experience moderating or managing online spaces.
