Open Discussion On : Shared Friendship In Marriage Based On Different Denomination View (S2)

Protestant / Evangelical View

Belief on Marriage:

  • Marriage is a God-ordained union between a man and a woman.

  • It emphasizes companionship (Genesis 2:18: “It is not good for man to be alone”).

View on Friendship:

Many evangelical teachings stress the importance of emotional connection, companionship, and praying together.

Friendship allows couples to walk in agreement, making it easier to withstand trials.

An evangelical couple may say: “We’re best friends and partners in Christ, that’s what keeps us strong.”
