Belief on Marriage:

Strong emphasis on spiritual compatibility, obedience to God, and role fulfillment.

Marriage is respected as a covenant with communal significance.

View on Friendship:

Friendship may not be emphasized as much as spiritual harmony or role balance.

But shared understanding and unity are viewed as crucial, which can be interpreted as a form of friendship.

A C&S member might say: “As long as there is peace and understanding, the marriage will stand.”
