Islam: Fitrah and Prophetic Tradition

In Islam, circumcision (khitan) is considered an important part of fitrah, the natural state of human purity and cleanliness.

Unlike Judaism, Islam does not specify an exact day, but emphasizes intention, cleanliness, and adherence to prophetic example.
