Chidi never thought he’d hear the word cancer but one quiet morning, it came like a storm. Stage three. Aggressive.
Fear crept in, but he and his wife chose to fight not just with medicine, but with faith. Through painful treatments, sleepless nights and moments of deep weakness, Chidi held on to God.
Every morning, he prayed: “Lord, I trust You.”
Though his body weakened, his spirit grew stronger. Peace replaced panic. He even began encouraging others in the hospital, reminding them that God was still in control.
Then came the scan completely clear. The doctors called it remission. Chidi called it a miracle.
Today, he lives cancer-free, full of gratitude and deeper faith.
“I had cancer,” he says, “but cancer never had me. My peace was in God and He never left.”
