FUOYE STUDENTS, PLEASE TELL ME I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCED THIS!

There was this one exam I prepared for so seriously in my year 1 that, honestly, I don't think I've ever taken another paper with that level of seriousness cause my CA was already low so I really needed the exam to boost my grade.

The night before the exam, I went to night class to read. My plan was simple, read as much as possible, revise the difficult topics, and make sure I was fully prepared before entering the exam hall.

But what started as an ordinary reading night turned into something else entirely.

From the night class straight to the exam hall, I didn't even have time to go back and properly prepare myself for the day. I didn't bath, I didn't brush my teeth, nothing!

That was how serious the paper was to me. I was more concerned about what I was going to write in that exam than anything else.

Imagine the level of commitment. Sleep was already sacrificed, personal grooming had been postponed, and all my attention was on passing that paper.

But here's where the story gets interesting…

After all that reading, all that sacrifice, and all that seriousness, imagine entering the exam hall and suddenly seeing questions that make you wonder whether you actually read the course at all.

Some answers refused to come. Some topics suddenly became strangers. And the confidence I had before entering the hall, omo it started disappearing one question at a time.

Honestly, that experience taught me that reading for hours doesn't automatically mean you're ready for an exam. Understanding, revision, and being able to recall what you've studied matter just as much.

My fellow students, what is the most extreme thing you've done because of an exam, and did all that preparation eventually pay off?
