On September 12,2025. The celebrity chef Hilda Baci cooked the largest pot of jollof rice at Eko hotel and suites.

The pot which contained 200 bags of rice took about 9 hours to cook.

In an interview, Hilda Baci said the event took them about 9months to plan and almost 9 hours to cook.

“It was very challenging but exciting,” she said.

Many Nigerians came out to support her.

“I'm so excited to be celebrating creativity and determination with a side of jollof! Has a blast supporting @Hildabaci as she attempts to break another record with her jollof rice masterpiece!
