68.32 trillion has been approved as our country’s 2026 budget. Here’s how it’s structured:

A significant portion, ₦32.2tn, is allocated to capital expenditure. This is the part meant for roads, schools, hospitals, and other public projects.

₦15.8tn goes to debt servicing.

₦15.4tn covers the cost of running government (recurrent non-debt spending).

₦4.79tn is set aside for statutory transfers.
