The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has updated its official website, signaling recognition of a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aligned with Nyesom Wike.

According to the update, Hon. Abdulrahman Mohammed is now listed as the National Chairman of the party, while Senator Samuel Anyanwu is recognized as the National Secretary. Other members of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) were also included in the listing.
