Simon Cowell, 66, Says Son Won’t Inherit His Wealth — Entire $600m Fortune To Go To Children’s And Animal Charities

Simon Cowell has revealed he does not plan to leave his son any of his assets, insisting he doesn’t believe in passing wealth down through generations.

The entertainment mogul, worth an estimated $600 million, says his fortune will instead be donated to charities supporting children and animals.

“I’m not really driven by money, and I don’t feel the need to set aside a pot of gold for my son,” Cowell said. “My parents always told me, ‘We’ll take care of your education — after that, you build your own life.’ I believe the same.”
