The Happie Boys reportedly attended Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere’s church on Sunday, September 14, 2025, to publicly apologize to him during the service.

While making their apology, they revealed that they had been deceived by a U.S.-based nurse assistant, Daniel Ochu, whom they described as a “fake doctor.” According to them, Ochu convinced them to speak negatively about Apostle Chibuzor with the promise of helping them travel to the United States.

Apostle Chibuzor also shed more light on the situation during the service. He explained that Ochu had previously approached him, requesting financial support for his NGO. However, the pastor said he declined because, as a philanthropist, he was already heavily committed to several projects, including running free schools, hospitals, and other charitable works. According to the clergyman, this refusal angered Ochu, who then sought to discredit him by allegedly instigating the Happie Boys against him.

The boys further admitted that this manipulation was the main reason behind their fallout with Apostle Chibuzor, who had sponsored their studies in Cyprus about two years ago.
