Yesterday night, armed bandits attacked the home of a community volunteer in the Zalau community of Toro LGA, Bauchi State. During the incident, they killed the JIBWIS Zalau Discipline Officer, Alhaji Muhammad Bakoshi, and abducted his wife, who gave birth two weeks ago.

The incident has deepened growing fears across the country, as it
show how bandit groups once largely confined to the Northwest, are now expanding their violent operations into several states in the Northeast and North Central regions.

This widening spread of insecurity continues to raise serious concern among citizens and security observers alike.
